Work Experience: John began working for Alderson Engineering at the beginning of 2011. Prior to this, he worked for a few of the area's leading Architectural and MEP firms. Projects have included electrical design documentation for area industrial, retail and mixed use facilities. John has already proven to be a valuable asset to the firm.
Highlights of Work Experience:
Caroline Village - Woodbridge VA.
Electrical power, lighting and fire alarm design for six four-story multi-family residential buildings and a two story clubhouse. Additional responsibilities included site lighting and utility coordination as well as low voltage (telecom/ security/ av) coordination.
Kennedy Health Care Center - Washington Township, NJ
Electrical power, lighting, communication and fire alarm systems design for new 44,000 sq. ft. 60-bed sub-acute care building. Building utilized normal, standby and emergency power systems and required integration with existing campus utilities.
Zeus Industrial - Branchburg NJ
Electrical power, lighting and fire alarm design for 80,000 sq. ft. office and manufacturing renovation. Project designed to LEED Gold specifications and included power and lighting design as well as solar integration and a class 10,000 clean room.
Horizon II - Trevose, PA
Electrical power, lighting and fire alarm design for five story 225,000 sq. ft. office core and shell to LEED specifications. Work included electrical design and coordination of adjacent two-story parking structure.
Rutgers University - Camden NJ
Completed electrical design and coordination portion of 72,000sq. ft. campus gym renovation. Renovation included addition of new office areas as well as training and locker room facilities.
Hotel Monaco - Lafayette Building - Philadelphia, PA
Power distribution, communication coordination and lighting design of systems for this renovation and rehab of the former Lafayette Building located on Independence Mall in Philadelphia, PA.
