Work Experience:

Paul has been with AEI since 1991 and has practiced as a consulting mechanical engineer since 1980. His broad experience includes design and management of every type of HVAC system for the commercial, residential and institutional markets.

Paul’s early career was spent designing systems for numerous financial institutions, national chain stores, and speculative office developers. Since joining AEI, his experience has broadened to include Healthcare, Geothermal, Industrial, Educational, and Pharmaceutical projects.

Highlights of Work Experience:

The Residences at Two Liberty; Philadelphia, PA – Construction Completion 2009
HVAC design for the conversion of the top 20 floors of this 57 floor high rise from commercial office space into truly luxurious residential condominiums.

Southern Maryland Stadium; Charles County, MD – Construction Completion 2008
HVAC design for the new 5,000 seat Atlantic League baseball stadium for the Maryland Stadium Authority. Also designed the Ripkin Stadium in Aberdeen MD.

American Hebrew Academy, Greensboro, NC – Construction Completion 2006
HVAC design for a fifty building, 100 acre private prep school. The architect, Aaron Green, was Frank Lloyd Wright’s last partner before Wright’s passing. All of the buildings are in the Wright style and, at the time, AHA was the largest geothermal HVAC system in the country (3,000 Tons). AEI has designed two larger systems since.

Wilmington Trust Headquarters, Wilmington, DE – Construction Completion 2006
HVAC design for the renovation of the Rodney Square Facility. Also designed the original construction in 1982 and has continued to provide services to Wilmington Trust for more than 25 years. Paul recently completed the headquarters for First Republic Bank and hopes that relationship will last for the next 25 years.

Personal Highlights:

Paul spends much of his free time filming and photographing in high definition many different local events. He has invested countless hours rendering film on his many Apple computers and wide screen displays.
